I admit it's a little odd seeing it this way. You would think there'll be connectors instead of the PC board and the wires would hook/unhook to the PCB. But you can't do that here, since the amplifier outputs are kinda spaced far apart. The black and red LF and HF wires are soldered directly to the PCB.
The power amp output is the RED wire, and the nearest GND wire is from the PSU, so there you have it. Personally, I think it's laziness. I mean, they used connectors on the other areas (see left wires with the white plug in the above picture), why not the amplifier outputs? So the above wires end up in these crimp on terminals.... which gets hooked up to the woofer.
Here is a shot of the wires going to the tweeter. The tweeters are shielded from the rest of the box by a wood covering. There's only a small opening big enough for the wires to go through. This is so the air pressure from the woofer does not interfere with the tweeters. Next Page... Active Filter Board/Input Board
